Box type substation is a factory prefabricated compact distribution equipment that integrates high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution devices according to a certain wiring scheme, and can be used indoors and outdoors. There are mainly five types of box type substations, and the last one has been popular recently!
1、 European style box transformer
European style box type substations, also known as combined substations, are the most common box type substations in daily life, where high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution devices are arranged in three different compartments and electrically connected through cables and busbars.
2、 American style box transformer
American style box transformers are also known as integrated box transformers, which are significantly different from European style box transformers in appearance. Meibian generally consists of transformers, 10kV ring network switchgear, cable plugs, low-voltage pile head boxes, etc. The advantages of American box type transformer substation are small size, easy installation and camouflage. Most of the boxes are dark green, which is easy to coordinate with the environment of residential quarters.
3、 Buried box transformer
Buried box transformer, also known as landscape buried box transformer. In a box substation, its structure is similar to that of a European box substation. However, due to the need for "burial", some equipment needs to be optimized and upgraded.
The underground box transformer occupies less or even no ground area, effectively solving problems such as urban land shortage and urban psoriasis. Buried box transformers can be divided into semi buried and fully buried. If semi buried, advertisements can be placed on both sides of the box to play a role beyond power distribution, which is commonly known as landscape type box transformers.
4、 Prefabricated modular box transformer
Prefabricated modular substation can be seen as a larger and more complex substation, similar in appearance to a container. Prefabricated cabin is an intelligent substation launched by the State Grid of China based on the core concept of "standard distribution". It is composed of prefabricated boxes, secondary substation equipment, cabin auxiliary facilities, etc., which are manufactured, assembled, wired, debugged in the factory, and transported to the engineering site for installation.
5、 Miniaturized box transformer
With the continuous increase in urban electricity capacity and the increasingly tight land occupation, the demand for miniaturization of distribution stations and equipment is becoming increasingly urgent. Therefore, in recent years, miniaturized box transformers have become popular!
One of the main selling points of miniaturized box transformers is miniaturization, which is essentially a European style box transformer with a "product font" layout. This new type of small box type substation has great advantages in power transmission and transformation in urban thoroughfares, bustling streets, and other places. Generally speaking, it only covers an area of 3 square meters, and its design style and heat dissipation performance are very good. Although small in size, the performance is excellent. The box is equipped with more advanced electrical equipment layout and intelligent control units, making operation and maintenance very easy.
