With the continuous advancement of smart grid construction, intelligent high-voltage switchgear, as an important transmission and distribution equipment in the power grid, its reliability and safety play a crucial role in the stable operation of the power system.
Intelligent high-voltage switchgear is an organic combination of primary equipment and intelligent components, with main technical features including: measurement digitization; Control networking; State visualization; Functional integration; Interactive information. In 2009, State Grid Corporation of China proposed a new concept of intelligent high-voltage equipment: overall design of measurement, control, supervision, protection, and calculation; Intelligent control - improving efficiency, simplifying structure, and user-friendly operation; Intelligent evaluation - supporting power grid optimization control. In 2013 and 2015, a preliminary technical standard system was established: GB/T 30155 Technical Guidelines for Intelligent Substation; DL/T 1411 Technical Guidelines for Intelligent High Voltage Equipment; DL/T 1440 Technical Specification for Communication of Intelligent High Voltage Equipment.
With the implementation of the "Strong Smart Grid" and "Made in China 2025" strategies, the widespread application of intelligent power facilities has become inevitable. High voltage switchgear, as one of the most important primary equipment in substations, its intelligence is becoming an essential key link.
High voltage switchgear has the ability to turn on or turn off large currents, which can ensure the safe and reliable operation of power lines and equipment. With the vigorous construction of intelligent substations, intelligent technology has been widely developed and applied. With the increasing demand for power quality in modern power systems, higher requirements have been put forward for the reliability of high-voltage switchgear. After years of exploration and development, intelligent high-voltage switchgear has become increasingly perfect, mainly possessing the following basic features: complete protection functions; Electrical parameter measurement and display function; External fault recording and display; Internal fault self-diagnosis and alarm function, high-speed and reliable communication function.
What are the main components of intelligent switchgear?
The intelligent high-voltage switchgear includes four parts: intelligent control unit, intelligent monitoring unit, intelligent identification unit, and intelligent components. The implementation and application of intelligent switchgear is one of the important symbols that distinguish intelligent substations from traditional substations. The combination of intelligent units and components is a prerequisite for achieving predictive maintenance of high-voltage switchgear, and is the key to ensuring its safe and reliable operation.
(1) The intelligent control unit is used for monitoring the switching value, achieving the control of the high-voltage switchgear electric actuator to complete the switchgear electric opening and closing operation. Among them, the intelligent "five prevention" locking control subunit can ensure that the switchgear operates according to certain procedures under various operating modes. The controller judges each operation based on the pre stored operating procedures, decides whether to continue with subsequent operations or give an alarm, and prompts that the operation is invalid, thereby preventing operators from misoperating and ensuring personal and equipment safety.
(2) The intelligent monitoring unit is used to obtain the characteristic parameters of the high-voltage switchgear. Through the joint work of multiple monitoring subunits, the characteristic parameters reflecting the working status of the high-voltage switchgear are obtained and uploaded to the back-end equipment through relevant communication methods.
(3) The intelligent identification unit can intelligently identify equipment information such as circuit breakers and cabinets, and achieve contactless information transmission through wireless radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Embed the body information of circuit breakers, isolation switches, grounding switches, busbars, and cabinets in the form of electronic tags in the equipment, and directly transmit the equipment information to the intelligent switching equipment IED through RFID. According to the IEC 61850 protocol, upload the equipment information to the integrated information platform through optical fiber, accurately locate and track the equipment, and understand the dynamic information of the equipment.
(4) As an intelligent component, the intelligent switchgear (IED) greatly improves the transmission speed of information due to its powerful information parsing and data transmission functions, and transmits it to the monitoring center through a unified standardized protocol, thereby truly achieving unmanned monitoring.
